My favorite hobby and sport is kayaking. My favorite river to kayak is the Taylor River in Colorado. The most difficult river I have paddled is the Arkansas, primarily the Numbers Rapids (broke a bone) and the Brown's Canyon Section (still haven't found my paddle, some lucky kayaker has themselves a new one...so do I, now). The easiest and closest river to me is the Guadalupe River (middle section) in the Texas Hill Country. This particular trip to the right is on the Animas River in Colorado two years ago. I am a Christian and have many other hobbies, too. I love to sing, play guitar, and only pick at that piano. I also do plastic canvas work and enjoy working in ceramics. I enjoy reading books and have dabbled in writing them as well. I love dogs and my favorite breed is the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier (Riverrun's Young Lochinvar is with me in the top picture). I enjoy working with scouting (boys and girls). I love to go camping, hiking and backpacking. I LOVE MUSIC, contemporary Christian, gospel, folk songs, rock and roll. My favorite musicians are the Beatles, John Denver, Mammas and Pappas, & Peter Paul and Mary. I, also, like quiet times and enjoy walks in gardens to pray and meditate and become one with the Lord. | ||||||||||||||||
